Intergenerational Inclusion
Course Introduction
The workforce is ageing, yet studies indicate that less than 10% of organisations incorporate age into their Diversity strategies. In order to realise the benefits that a multi-generational workforce bring, and to overcome barriers standing in the way of intergenerational inclusion, it is crucial to build a foundation of knowledge among staff, and to challenge myths and stereotypes around age.
What will participants learn?
This interactive 90-minute workshop provides participants with a foundational knowledge of generational diversity, drawing on workforce statistics and trends.
We explore the challenges and opportunities that age diverse teams present. And participants will learn about the damage caused by generational stereotypes and the wider barriers that can stand in the way of intergenerational inclusion, and – more importantly - how to overcome them.
