DEI Strategy Workshop
Course Introduction
DEI is higher on the business agenda than has ever been before. But a lack of progress can create frustration or lead to the perception that well-intentioned diversity initiatives are performative, rather than transformative. How can HR and DEI professionals develop action-oriented DEI strategies that get to the root of the issues, and improve the pace of change?
Designed for HR practitioners, DEI practitioners, ERG leaders and Diversity Champions, this interactive workshop will create a safe space to pause and reflect on where we are now, where we want to be, and how we will get there. We will explore the evolving DEI landscape and the effectiveness of traditional DEI strategies. Participants will learn how to use qualitative and quantitative data to identify disparities, to determine priorities, to measure impact and to drive accountability.
What will participants learn?
We will explore the importance of purpose and consider how to identify strengths and opportunities across 5 strategic DEI pillars:
Talent attraction, retention and progression
Culture and working environment
Engagement and education
Community outreach and engagement
Recognition and accountability
